My main's called Manchurius - Death knight, he has always had the name, but i kind of dislike it now :L Sounds so lame :)

My total play time is a healthy 14 days, 17 hours - 9 days, 1 hour at 80. I know it doesn't sound much in comparison to a lot of other players, but i'm proud of what i've achieved in that time. & obviously i couldn't play Manch pre-wrath because he is a DK :)

I would love to apply for a raiding spot in the guild! Although, through looking at your other posts, i appreciate that I might not be able to on my DK as the spot is at 'low'.

My spec is 24/11/26, which may appear scary at first, but i believe gives me the most damage mitagation possible, coupled with a fair few raid-saving spells to take some pressure off of the healers :)

I started off as a frost Dps when i first hit 80, but through playing a rogue as my main since pre-tbc decided to try out tanking and loved it! I would be willing to swap specs if required, but whereas my tank gear is rated ulduar level, my dps gear will probably only help a group get through naxx 10 tops :(

'The Black Heart' wasn't showing before (my trinket) but is basicly an upgraded essence of the gossamer from the new 'trial of the champion' instance :)

Using this gear i am defence capped and exceed 30k health (although with the patch this has dropped slightly :[ ) I don't have any tier gear currently included in my tanking gear, as my tier 7 was mostly replaced by naxx 25 gear and never had a chance to update it to naxx25 as i left the raiding guild i was in before (Kindred Spirits) :/

My main plans are with replacing my defence rating trinket, cape, helm and frost resist gear. My trinket i will replace with essence of the gossamer (which i have tucked away in my bank) , granting me an extra 1110 health! But to do this i need to retain my defence cap, which is where i need to replace my frost resist gear - I'm currently looking towards the emblem of conquests belt and neck. I also wish to replace my cape with the emblem of valor cape. Doing so should allow me to keep my defence cap and get lots of stam and damage mitigation :D

As i said before my dps gear is lacking, but if required i could pull off a sturdy 2.6k+

I think AGPG is a focused, down to earth guild, hoping to take on anything blizzard throws at them in terms of new raids & also to have fun along the way!!

I try my best to arrive at least 10 minutes before the raid - earlier if possible and always bring the required flasks. I can't quite provide a great or fish feast, but if we're running short on cooks i'll be happy to lvl cooking :)

I have no pre-wrath experience of raids, as i only started playing more seriously during wrath and lacked the gear or knowledge of the game to get my rogue accepted into a raid guild :P - (my idea of getting into a raid guild was to do pvp and get shiny shiny pvp epics!! ;/)

The main stats i'm focusing on are defence rating, stamina, dodge/parry rating and a bit of strength :) I think my weakness is holding aggro at the very start of a fight, but once i get ahold i'm fine :) My spec also allows me a lot of aoe moves so i can hold multiple targets quite easily.

I enjoyed raiding with my old guild kindred spirits, but i left along with 2 friends (ilion and moocowmike) - the guild leader left and was replaced and we found it wasn't working as well. After leaving KS we tried and failed at making our own guild (MoreDots, i doubt you've heard of them :P) we decided to join a proper guild that had the standards we has hoped to one day achieve... :)

I believe that once i have sorted my gear out a bit, i will be a valuable tanking asset to help the guild progress through even the new raiding content!

Tuesday's a no unfortunately, but other than that i should be available most evenings, coursework allowing. :)

I have both ventrillo and TS, ilion even rented a vent server for MoreDots so i can use them yes :)

During wrath only Kindred Spirits and MoreDots :)

I have an 80 gnome mage - magicmidget, but he is more pvp specced atm and his pve gear is still work in progress ;/ I also have a 78 druid, forn, which i hope will reach 80 soon - i want to try out healing :) but way undergeared atm :/ I don't know if it's even worth mentioning, but i also have my pre-tbc rogue i was on about - syranior at lvl 70, but i'm rather bored of him to tell the truth :P

If my Dk is a definate no, then i would definately be willing to gear up my other alts for AGPG, but it could take time :)

Yes, but i sort of cheated with them all x) - manchurius was a dk, so started at 55, forn was lvled with triple exp from 1 - 60 with my brother and magicmidget was boosted from about 37 - 57 through triple exp :P

My 'real life age' is 16 :), i'm joining college next year, hence the coursework i mentioned before & i also have a brother with two 80's, priest and paladin, who might want to join, but is unsure atm :)

This is possibly a major edit and would change the whole app completely ;/, but i am considering raiding on magicmidget, my mage instead - so could i apply for a social spot until i have geared up one of the two and got my act together? :L sorry for the confusion!

Thank you for the heads-up. Can you perhaps let us know more of your mage? What is his gear like, what is your raid experience with him?
What do you consider a mage's role in raids?

i belive it may be very helpful to oursleves if you could list each of your characters.

your mentioned a rogue and also a mage.

Just somtimes in AGPG is is the player behind the character that is worth more than the character its self, however getting a good overall veiw of the characters that are available to yourself would be useful.

My best dps is 3.7k in voa25, but ive gained gear since then and respecced so there's room for improvement :)

My raiding experience is nearly all pre-ulduar raids, naxx10, OS10/25, EoE (although i've never down malygos :( ) - i would consider a mage's roll in raids to be to push out as much dps as possible and if possible help keep aggro off healers in bosses like gluth in naxx. :)

My rogue is lvl 70 (syranior) I'd rather not have to level him as i detest him atm :( but if required then i suppose i would have to get over myself ;/

I have an upcoming druid too - Forn, 79, i am planning to heal on him, but am far undergeared atm :(

Hi Manchurius,

That mage is nevertheless an interesting option, we have much more room for magic DPS than for a tank at this point. Aside from the trinkets the gear is certainly passable (you can easily gear up in coli and with badges now anyway). We'll take that into consideration as well, it seriously increases your chances.
