LegendFusion, lvl 64 Druid fully resto

Postby DarkFusion » Sat Jan 12, 2008 3:01 pm

hello there,!

after being on turalyon server for 3 weeks now, i transferred all my chars from a pvp server (emeriss) i decided to look for a guild who has friendly and mature players. I was in a casual raiding guild before TBC and we had BWL/naxx and everything below off course on farming status.
I met some people from AG PG ( viox etc) and we had alot of fun doing some low level group instances ( hellfire ramparts, blood furnace etc).

She said i should apply because AG needed good resto druids, even altho i'm only lvl 64 yet ( rising fairly quickly).

so here is my application, hope i will get in, thanks in advance for reading my application.

Hi there :)
Had a small chat with you ingame last night.

I have forwarded your application to the officers board, where it will be discussed amongst the class leaders and officers.
Wish you the best of luck on your application :)

Hello DarkFusion,

We make a distinction in this guild, out of necessity, between people who join to raid with us and people who join because they are friends or family. This is a friendly, grown up, guild indeed – we pride ourselves on being a “family” more than a lot of other guilds on the sever, though we do have a core of people who raid regularly and well.

Whilst we have lost a resto druid or two from the ranks over the last six months or so, due to respec or switch of alts, at the moment I'm not sure whether we have space for another healer of any kind and if we did, we'd probably look to a level 70 character in appropriate gear or (and this is more likely) look to those on the fringes of our raiding to step up as a regular raider to fill any gaps.

Your application makes it clear you don't expect to raid straight away. As things stand – given your level alone - we couldn't offer you a raid spot of course, nor, to be honest, would there be any certainty of you ever getting one.

I'll have a chat with the other officers and class leaders, and the folks you partied with, and someone (probably me or the other druid CL Antarn) will get back to you as soon as we can. We like to give everyone with access to our officer board the chance to respond so there may be a little delay.

Just a few questions in the meantime:-

-What's the name of the guild you left behind on the other server?

-Why choose Turalyon, and what made you leave your PvP server?

-Do the characters you mentioned still have their original names?

-Your raiding history suggests you've played quite a lot yet you don't have a character at 70 (or at least none is mentioned) whereas even our most casual players have been 70 for ages? Have you taken a break or is there some other reason for that?

hello leaf,

first of all, i dont expect to raid , unless needed by lack of other people. I'm not in a hurry, as i'm not even lvl 70 yet, a non raiding spot would be great to get to know you guys and maybe someday i will be taken in as a raider.

the guild i left behind on Emeriss PVP server was/is named The Inquisition. i have no clue whatsoever if it still exists as i quit the game when TBC came out, i rejoined the game about 4 weeks ago, ( therefore i dont have a lvl 70 yet as i leveled multiple characters at the same time).

My characters have almost all gone a namechange because on this server the names were already taken..

The reason why i choose Turalyon is because i have some real life friends on this server, (cylath in The Last Watch is one of them,).

I hope this information is enough, if theres anything else please dont hesitate to contact me,

Kind regards,

LegendFusion

We've had the chance to chat about you now and have reached a decision.

We're not able to offer you a space at this time. Your level, our recruitment needs, the people we already have in-game waiting to raid with us, and the balance of the guild at the moment all mean that we'd be uncomfortable taking on another non-raider without strong links to the guild already.

You may want to try a smaller, active and successful guild like Sacred Knights if you're after a mature, friendly bunch. We wish you the best of luck in Azeroth and beyond.
