First, a word of warning: I’m a bit ‘speechy’, and therefore following application may be a bit longer then ones you’ve used to see here. You have been warned!

Main character name: Alneis

Character class: Paladin

Character race: Human

Character level: 70

Character spec:
Currently, retribution. That’s right, mighty *cought* dee-pee-es *cought* tree of a paladin class. Regarded by many as ‘soloing’ or ‘leveling up’ tree, thought it might be quite viable in both parties (as a ‘hybrid’) and raids (while 3% increased chance for critical strike on hit or spellcast may appear to be small buff, it scales with ammount of people attacking target).
While it has been stated that AG Praetorian Guard is not a restrictive guild, it would be understandable not to have more then few or even any ‘dee-pee-es’ paladins, especially since it may mean ‘harming’ members who play ‘pure’ dps classes. I used to be protection paladin, but certain circumstances ‘forced’ a respec without my willingless on the matter. But should you be interested more in protection paladin rather then in ‘dee-pee-es’ one (thought I tend to see it more as ‘hybrid’ one), respec wouldn’t be that painful, especially since I have gear to support this change.
I haven’t respeced back to protection because of two reasons. Since I’m practically guildless, there is no current use of it. Also, Blizzard stated they are reworking retribution tree to make it more viable, and since retribution is my favourite tree, I would be more then willing to give it a go. But then, tanking isn’t bad either, so I could respec back to it.
While I’m not (or at least don’t see myself as) sterethypical ‘the-guy-who-will-never-heal’ paladin, I have to say that respecing to Holy is something I doubt that will happen to me any time soon. There are fights when being paladin doing something else then healing is just being stubborn (Maiden of Virtue in Karazhan for example) and I’m more then fine to accept that. Yet, let’s say I had other idea of ‘paladin’ when I created this character 2 years ago or so (can’t remember now tbh, time passes sooo quickly). Besides, seeing your recruitment status of paladins as ‘closed’, I take it you have more then handful of dedicated healing pallies. Very likely others as well, but oh well, you never know untill you try, right?

Character trade skill professions and levels: Enchanting 370, Engineering 362

Character heroic keys and attunements:
Pre-TBC raid instances:
Molten Core – Attuned
Black Wing Lair – Attuned
Naxxramas – Not Attuned

Access to heroic versions of following instances:
Hellfire Citadel
Coilfang Reservoir
Auchindoun
Tempest Keep
Caverns of Time
... that would be all, wouldn’t it?

TBC raid instances:
Karazhan – Attuned
Since The Eye and Serpentshrine Cavern no longer requires attunement, I guess I’m ‘attuned’ to those as well, even thought I didn’t manage to get any of those attuments done.

High level non trainable spells/abilities learned:
As far as I know, there are no non-trainable class spells/abilities for paladins on lvl 70, but might use that one for enchanting and engineering recipies, which would be the following:
http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=27917
http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=34005
http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=34006
http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=25083
http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=27968
http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=27975
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=22530
http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=30332

Total /played time: 88 days, 22 hours, 31 minutes

/played time at level 70: 21 days, 12 hours, 56 minutes

Notable factions and their level:
Cenarion Expedition: Revered
Honor Hold: Revered
The Consortium: Revered
Lower City: Revered
The Aldor: Exalted
The Sha’tar: Exalted
Keepers of Time: Revered
The Violet Eye: Revered (missing less then 2k for exalted)

Armory link (or CTprofile if you wish to show different gear):
The Amory link is: http://armory.wow-europe.com/character- ... n&n=Alneis (not sure if simple copy + paste will do, seen it not working more then once, but don’t know other way)
Most likely you will see my grinding gear, which wouldn’t be much different to be used in instances (maybe a change here or there for more spell dmg and mana, depending on encounter and role I’d have to fit). Sadly, with ‘death’ of Ctprofiles I cannot make a profile showing also healing and tanking gear sets. The only alternative I could think of would be posting links to the items on sites like [censored due to keylogger issues] or Wowhead, but... feel like I have written more then enought already to take loads of times of poor officers who have to read this application, and worst hasn’t come yet!

Previous guild(s):
Dudes of Destruction, Raiders of the Night

Name, class and level of Alternate character(s):
Sharkador, rogue 52
Marnus, mage 33
Alagnar, warrior 33

Reasons why you would like to join:
To make long story short (I know, doesn’t look like I’m to succed, but oh well): it appeares to me that AG Praetorian Guard is the guild I could feel like at home.
Recent events made it impossible for me to enjoy the game as I used to in DoD. Since it’s rather personal matter, I’d prefer not to go into details, unless it’s neccesary. Let’s just say that situation there got to a point when either I gave up myself and my personality or couse a split. Since I wish DoD all best, decided to leave and avoid ‘drama’ that unfortunatelly would very likely took place if I were to stay and remain myself.
Since the time I’ve left DoD, my play time on Turalyon has been devoided of purpose, I seemed to be ‘lost’. Thought of joining another guild appeared to be a bit more then abstract for me. I don’t think a ‘hardcore’ raiding guild could be a place I would be able to call ‘home’ nor that it would make my game play more pleasure then duty. Most of such guilds are full of paladins anyway, plus majority (if not all) are... demanding, when it comes to (for example) talent specialisations (aka: paladin = holy or none at all). On the other hand, I think I’m too ambitious to join fully ‘casual’ guild, one that rarely if not never see raid or heroic instance.
It doesn’t mean that I ‘cannot live’ without raiding, or wouldn’t join a guild that would not let me raid. Raiding is something I really enjoy and I cannot deny it. Yet... seeing that your recriutment status on paladin (and some others as well) class is closed, I more then understand if you would not be able to provide me a raiding spot.
As I said at very beggining of answer to this question: I feel AG Praetorian Guard is the guild I could call home, and that’s what I really lack at the moment. Restrictions on members are non-existant or negligible - for example the one concerning tank spec warrior passing on dps plate gear for dps warrior, if that can be called a restriction (perfectly logical for me). As it was stated on ‘read before posting’ post, real life comes over game without discussion, something many claim to do but only few manage to. Having met some of you, even if for only short period of time, gave me an impression that you did manage that task.
It also gives an impression that certain flaws of members might be ignored like... being a bit too speechy? ^^’

Were all of the above characters levelled by you from the start?: Positive!

Your real age: Hey, would you ask such question to a lady? I mean... not that *I* am a lady, but... equal rights should work both ways, shouldn’t they? Oh well, let it be: 19 >.<.

Well, that would be it, phew! Thank you for your time taken while reading this, and feel free to ask any questions should I've missed something - I swear I will try not to elaborate as grately as I did here ;)

*polishes Al's head until he can see his own reflection in it*

Now, if you walk backwards, people may be fooled into thinking you're handsome!

Seriously, tho...this is a pleasant surprise.

I know Alneis pretty well from my time in The Dudes of Destruction. He was Paladin Class Leader and occasional ZG raid leader whilst I was Hunter Class Leader there. A solid, honest, decent kinda guy who I'm sure would be an asset to any guild.

Wish you the best of luck with your application, Al. Look forward to seeing you around Tura again regardless of it's outcome :)

Thank you for kind words people :)

And Elo... 'fooled' into thinking I'm handsome? Hmpf! Indeed no matter of outcome we should catch each other on Tura, even if only to emend certain 'opinions' of yours! An art of persuasion with hammer is not alien to me, mind you *vicious grin*

As far as retribution paladins go, we'd need to know if you die as much as our current one. Seeing you're an engineer, I bet you're popping bots to repair yourself every now and then (hour)

Your application will be discussed amongst CL's and officers, you are aware that our raiding paladins are stacked like anchove in a jar...

Retridins take almost as long to die as Protadins which gives the rest of us -loads- of time to get away.

Oh, while I don't think I die too much, I can't know what would you define as 'dying too much'. So best if you judge yourself, but for that you would need some shared experience ;) *hint* /nudge

Yet, even assuming I die too often, that's easily solvable, just let me dig out that old bubble + HS macro. Umm... not that I tend to leave fellow companions in the middle of instance or even worse, mid fight! No, not at all, never have happened to me... well, okay, maybe once. But hey, hear me! I was orb controller in Razorgore encounter, HSed when there were only 3 people (and about 40 orcs and bit less of dragonkins) left alive. And got back to the instance even before majority who waited for rezz were up again.

Yet Krollin has a point, even if I'm squishy to get one hitted that's enought time for others to get away, aka: hit the vanish button! (sorry, couldn't help that one ^^')

Krollin's reflexes aren't that good anymore. He's not that young anymore, so vanishing isn't his style. Running (or trying to with that walking stick of his) is what he does best (and killing people on TS with his singing)
