Valgarv - Level 41 - Rogue

Postby Valgarv » Sat Nov 25, 2006 10:08 pm

After speaking with Leaf I gather there may be a slim chance that you may consider an application.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to apply.

Main character name: Valgarv

Character class: Rogue

Character race: Night Elf

Character level: 41

Character spec: Assassin/Combat balanced for high crit chance.

Character tradeskill professions and levels:

Leatherworking:300 (Elemental), Skinning:262.

Character zone flags or quests completed: N/A

Raid spells and abilities obtained: None, currently not able to raid due to level restriction.

Total /played time: 9 days, 7 hours, 18 minutes.

/played time at level 60: N/A

Notable factions and their level:

Neutral with most major factions. Honored with Darnassus and Stormwind.

Your profile is in CT/Allakhazam/WWN Data/...:

Allakhazam

Previous guild(s): (Current) Future Kings

Name, class and level of Alternate character(s):

Honeypot, Mage, level 8.
Gokatsu (Horde), Warrior, level 18.
Incubus (Horde), Warrior, level 9. (To be deleted - my first character).

Reasons why you would like to join:

I am fairly new to the game and as such would benefit from additional guidance and the ability to play in a friendly atmosphere among mature adults. Since I began to play World of Warcraft I have acquired what I believe to be a fairly good knowledge of the game which has assisted me to help others with their new characters.

I find assisting others to be one of the most enjoyable aspects of Warcraft and through a guild I can further channel these efforts.

I realise that many guilds are oriented towards one particular specialism, some PvP, others raiding. Whilst I have an interest in all these areas I hold no particular preference at this point. I prefer a balanced approach to my gaming life, with an enjoyable levelling experience augmented by the occassional raid or battle ground.

It is for this reason that I approached AG Praetorian Guard as I have observed members assisting others, raiding, and in battle grounds.

My level is lower than most in the guild I realise, but by applying, I hope you will look upon me as fresh blood to mould in your own, more experienced image. Being new to the game I still am fortunate enough to retain an open mind, and going by what is said on your web site, you view this as an asset.

I hope you will look upon this application favourably and look forward to hearing from you soon.

Were all of the above characters levelled by you from the start?: Yes

Your real age: 27

I think it's because my level doesn't equal my IQ. My IQ is 68 so I'm all set for TBC! hehe

Thank you for the compliment.

Tbh, I hope your IQ is somewhat higher than 68....cause that's actually very low.... Didn't you mean 168 perhaps? That would make you somewhat close to a genius then hehe. :D

Nice application. Well written and thought over. Good luck.

Last time I participated in a test like that I scored 129.

Of course when you don't know an answer for sure there's a chance you get it right anyway, but with other questions it might happen that you know the answer, but didn't click it in time because your mouse wouldn't move in time.

129 isn't too bad afaik. At least it proves I'm not a complete retard ^^

129 is well above average (which is obviously 100).

A score of 129 is considered high, top 5% I believe. It does of course, depend on age. If you were 10 and had this IQ, you'd be ready to study at Harvard by 14.

Wish I'd never mentioned IQ now, it was passing sarcasm and now i've started this big debate! lol

At least now I know how level 60's keep themselves occupied when they're not raiding!

Yes indeed....missing the crooked way of smiling, uncontrolled hand motions accompanied with garbled speaking and slow thinking.

When I did that test I was 23 or 24 btw.
