I'm and Elemental Shaman and I've chosen a few things for a particular reason. I've got Totem of Wrath in the Ele tree for the hit buff for the party and Elemental Precision so reduce my threat and increase my hit chance. I've spent some points in Resto to even myself out and also, there is some nice talents in that tree too. Nature's Guidance gives me a nice +3% hit chance and of course reduced mana for totems is a god send. With this build I get a nive crit chance bonus, and with Totem of Wrath, I have +12% hit bonus before Hit Rating on kit, which is very useful for boss dps.

I just switched from Mining/Engineering in an attempt to craft myself the Netherstrike set. I should hopefully be 375 Leatherworking within a few weeks.

None with this character, I levelled using PUGS and such. I helped out on a few raids with the Esoteric Church of Dagon, but other than that I've been solo.

I have a few level 70 alts whom I have retired for the forseeable.

Reasons why you would like to join:

Well this is the biggy huh? I like the way you guys approach the game. Or least what I have seen of it. Having read your application layout, I think that you guys have the right frame of mind when it comes to raiding. I really want to see the end game content that TBC has to offer. The most exciting thing for me is seeing all the awesome new dungeons and bosses that blizzard has dreamt up.

The biggest thrill for me, is seeing and defeating bosses for the first time. I do however have a real life aswell. I do things like go to the pub, and spend time with my friends and girlfriend <edit>I notcied that this made it sound like I go to the pub, and spend time with my friends as two seperate things. Made me laugh. This guild seems to balance the needs of a real person with that of an active raider and player. I really like that idea.

I've had a fair bit of raiding exp. with Pre TBC and Karazhan/Zul'aman. But I've never done anything beyond that and I feel quite constrained by it. I've recently levelled this character and would love the oppurtunity to see what an Ele shaman can do in the end game rading. Especially with the awesome new badge loot available.

Hi Tsuran,

We grouped in one of the pugs while you were levelling when I was on as my druid Gwyndaff. You were enhancement then I think and played very well in my opinion

Out of interest, how come you went Elemental from Enhancement?

In general getting LW to 375 for the Netherstrike set cannot be recommended enough although the mats are rather nasty. I would also recommend Hurricane boots which are a LW craftable but again have a high nether requirement.

Unfortunately armory seems to be down atm

I have the plans for the Hurricane boots in the bank, so as soon as I hit 375 I'm away ...

I decided to go Elemental for a couple of reasons. I always wanted to be Ele, but had herd is was much easier to level enhancement. No need to sit and drink etc. Also, I think that the badge loot and e[ic crafted set aswell as a few choice rings, trinkets, cloaks etc. can make for a pretty nasty dps class that can also heal.

Finally, When I use the wardrobe I look awesome in the ElE shammy stuff. And looking cool is the best part

Just like to add that I've been working on my kit a bit since I posted.

I now use Bleeding Hollow Warhammer (121 SD, 16 SPC) with a +40 spell damge enchant on it.
