(52/8/11) Currently experimental build focusing on increasing aoe DPS to the max keeping AB up high. (Can be changed if requested)

Well im very familier with the ice spec but as we all know its more or less a lvling spec. I dont like fire in raids ofcourse due to aggro and dont pvp with this char so as far a fire goes im a noob

Decent raid starters kit imo

10 - Which of the items you use have the highest priority to be replaced and with what?
My boots but im not prepared to spend 4 k on tailoring thing and it seems boots are hard to come by. not sure what i would like but something with a haste and some +hit would be lovely

Nope

12 - What kind of guild do you think AG Praetorian Guard is?
My first impression is a semi-hardcore type raiding guild that doesn't mind a strong social environment.

13 - Describe the role of your class/spec in raids and its mechanics. Be as precise as you can. Show us you know your class inside-out.
Interesting question Ok well im spell DPS that knows how to work with Focus targets (sheeping). I know how to control the output of my DPS for burst damage or mana preservation (and inbetween). I tend to prefer to switch to a Flamestrike/Blizz rotation on mob packs to preserve mana but still pomp out 5,6K DPS and spread out aggro over multiple targets. This ofcourse only works when the tank is good at holding groups however i use macros to speed up things alot so focus/sheeping , Iceblock/Canceling , Cancelcast/Silence ect.. are all set to maximum efficiency.
I also use basic macros to keep trinkets and specials constantly going on CD which allows me to pay more attention to my surroundings.
Other then the AoE i basically spam AB for max burst DPS or an AB*4 MBML rotation for high DPS with some mana preservation. I need some more +Hit and am starting to focus abit more on increasing haste while maintaining 2500 SP minimal

14 - How do you prepare for raids?
If necessary brouwse youtube for wow tactics and use wowwiki
100 arcanedust / 50 runic mana and heath pots / 30 Gurus Elixir and Elixir of Lightning Speed (haven't figured out witch guardian i want to be using but might even switch to flasks later if those dmn frost lotus would only drop more) / a few Fishfeast or something of the sort (mostly drop tables though)

15 - What is your raiding experience in Azeroth, Outland and Northrend?
To keep it short and to the point this is from multiple chars.
Up to Naxx Rassuvious kill in classic (except c-thun in AQ40)
Outlands was a funny start but sort of dropped the idea of raiding after the horror of 40 man raids and did some PvP.
Now im back and thought a few weeks ago i would pickup some raiding again. Life now in WoW is easy compared to 5 years ago. Heck took me 2 weeks to get a 4966 GS im like OMFG

16 - Why do you want to get into AG Praetorian Guard?
Im hoping to find a relaxed raid groep with a good sense of humor while we bash on our keyboards

18 - On which days of the week are you able to attend raids?
Not really bound to specific days only have one draw back. I have once every 4 weeks a late shift at work and dont get home until at least 21:00

19 - We use TeamSpeak during our raids. Are you familiar with TS or Ventrillo and do you actually use it? (Talking aswell as listening)
I used to be a ventrilo fan but havent really got around to raiding much yet so i havent really used the new editions as of late. I normally do have a mic but the one i have is dead. Ill try to pick one up if i think about it but for now i listen only.

20 - Which other guilds have you been in in the past? (please name them all)
Pfft All?? im hoping you only mean on this server so here's the rundown.
Drunkendragons (private guild to get rid of guild recruiters during lvling)
I got recruited into the guild OFFLINE last week but when it came down to it i was accused of low DPS (mind me 4k) in the Lady Deathwalker fight in ICC-10. Turns out im the only spell caster in the entire raid and im running after reanimated fanatic's because the tanks don't know the diff between deformed or reanimated and of course they have the vamp buff gaining 300% HP of the DPS they deal. Now imagine me going after 3 of em all by myself and then the GM wants to swap me because my DPS is only 4k. I was like "Uhm GM why are you not on your lvl 80 raid lock assisting me instead of playing your druid alt healer as 3rd healer"
The rest will only look like &^*%@#!(*$? &^# so go figure.

I have quite abit more but not worth mentioning for this server and guild

22 - Which of your alts would you be willing to make your main in AG Praetorian Guard, in case we can only offer that particular class/spec a raiding spot and not the one your applying with? Also mention if you are willing to respec yes or no and with which character.
The shaman could become a main. I'm a pretty good Pala healer but thats on horde side. I could get it going but i like the mage alot as well so that has preference. I'm kinda done with healing raids for a change

23 - Did you level all your characters from the start yourself?
My room mate likes to hop on alot to do the farming and loves to fish so no not all of it but when it comes to experience and gear that's all me down to the last gem

Hi Littlebugger!

I have a few questions for you regarding gear and specc.
The main thing that irritated me was that you do not have Torment the Weak although you are deep arcane. Is there any specific reason why you left that talent out?

You also say that you would like to gather some more hit. Can you explain how much hit you are missing and also what buffs you would expect in raids to compensate for your missing hit on gear?

I know exactly where your getting at Well i guess in a 25man raid having the shadow priest option with Misery is not rare that including dranei racial would give me just over 17% hit with my current build. Im just not used to seeing many shadow priest in 10 mans so that drops me below 15% during those fights which tends to eat my DPS output to a noticeable lvl

And like i posted in the app its an experimental build swiching that out for a more damagin AoE and it definitly works Flamestrike hits of 11k and blizz wave hits for 8k are not rare. This works nicely on mob groups maintaining mana lvl to keep moving instead of drinking after every fight.

The extra hit is more or less meant for the frost and fire hit which has a difference of 80 hitrating compared to arcane
