Moocowmike - Feral druid

Postby Moocowmike » Wed Aug 05, 2009 10:38 pm

Character name: Moocowmike (80 feral/resto druid)

Character spec - 0/55/16

I choose this spec as it gives me the best dps and includes raid-helpful talents such as leader of the pack. with it i can throw out on average around 3.5-4k dps during raids, maxing out at around 5.6k once (non aoe). If my kitty services are not required, i will also be happy to change to resto, with which i have had alot of experience with also, including all raids except some of ulduar and the patch 3.2 raid of course.

Total Played time - 63 days, 20 hours, 9 minutes, 6 secs :D

Hey my name is Mike (hard to figure out eh? :L), i am 16 years old and I wish to apply to be part of the guilds raiding community, I am a feral druid with tonnes of raiding experience.

A couple of months back, me and a few friends tried to start our own little raiding guild (More Dots, probably never heard of it, didn't get very large in the end) with little success. because of this, the guild disbanded and turned into a bank guild, which i am stuck in.

For a while this didn't bother me as i didn't really have the time for raiding, but now that i have more time on my hands, i would like to get back into raiding again :)

This guild came to my attention when a guildies friend (Aiax) who is now a guildy herself and a friend of mine, invited me to an ulduar 25 raid a few weeks back and i had fun during it and enjoyed the atmosphere.

heres my armory link for those wanting to see my gear (sorry if its the wrong gear set), its all fully enchanted and i picked it because it provides with stats needed for feral dps'ing

At the moment i want to replace my trinkets, wrists, and a few others if possible to maximise my dps

i have a set for every spec imaginable as a druid xD, best of which is either my resto or feral dps set, which are ready for ulduar i believe. my boomkin and tank set is around naxx25 ready.

For my feral dps, i am aware that i am not entirely hit capped at the moment and am working to get that sorted. i love dps'ing as feral due to its challenging nature of keeping rake. mangle, SR and rip up, and determining when to use each. as for item stats, i am looking for as much attack power, crit and agility as possible.

When preparing for raids, i turn up as least 15 mins before the raid to ensure i am on time and ready, and come equipped with flasks and buff food if no feast is available.

As for my raiding experience, i have done no pre-bc content (i started played a few months after bc was released), a few raids from tbc (kara and ZA), and most of Wotlk stuff (OS, VoA, Naxx, EoE, some of ulduar)

I believe i would be a good addition to the guild as i am punctual when it comes to raids, listen to tactics, and could potentially be a useful member to help progress this guild into the next patches content :D

In regards to my raiding times, up until september the 1st, i can raid whenever as long as notice is given on the calender, but after that date, im starting back at college and thus will only be able to raid after 4pm, and would not be able to raid every night due to coursework stacking up. during weekends however i can raid whenever also :).

I have used Teamspeak in the past and have it all setup, i believe i still have your server from the pug raid i went to, and so getting on will be no problem at all.

Since i hit 80, i have been in Kindred Spirits, and then the second and last guild i was in was More Dots (our self formed guild).

My only alt worth mentioning is an 80 lock, fairly well geared, ready for around naxx25, named Mcjones, mainly used for pvp. i can bring him to raid if necessary but would rather bring moo.

My main character in the guild would be Moocowmike, as i enjoy playing him the most and he has more to offer. I am willing to respec to tank or boomkin if needed but as previously mentioned i am not that well geared in either.

Did you level all your characters from the start yourself? no i didn't buy moo off ebay xD

Thanks so much for taking the time to read my application, sorry if its a bit long

I hope to see you all soon

Yours faithfully

Mike

Edit: by the way, Ilion and Manchurius (also applying to the guild), were the people that i started More Dots with :D just thought you might like to know :)
