Veritaz, 70 druid

Postby Veritaz » Fri Feb 22, 2008 1:36 am

Main character name:
Veritaz

Has this character always had this name?
No, I'm newly migrated from Silvermoon EU.

Character class:
Druid

Character race:
Male Night Elf

Character level:
70

Character spec:
Currently feral for grinding, but this is my intended raid spec: http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=0zZZxEIxeqMest , this is what spec I find the best for PvE raiding, since it benefits you in all healing situations. I was also thinking of dropping the Healing Touch points from resto and putting them in Balance because that can also pay off sometimes, but I decided to stay with the normal 1/0/60 spec unless someone tells me to respecc or so.

Character tradeskill professions and levels:
370 Jewelcrafting, leveling mining which currently is at 200ish.
Got a few rare JC recipes, but working on more as I'm getting wealthier and wealthier.

Character heroic keys and attunements:
Kara attuned and all heroic keys, working on the BT chain.

High level non trainable spells/abilities learned:
Nothing yet.

Total /played time:
73 days

/played time at level 70:
29 days

Notable factions and their level:
Exalted with Karazhan, exalted or revered with all Outlands factions. (Not Ashtounge Deathsworn though)

Armory link (or CTprofile if you wish to show different gear) : http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet ... &n=Veritaz , however since I'm feral atm I might be having that gear on my on armory.
My resto gear is full epic except from a neck, including 4/5 Tier4 and other epics retrevieble from Karazhan/Gruul. Also has a gimpy belt which I am about to replace with the Badges of Justice purchasable one. All my gear is also enchanted and socket to the max.

Previous guild(s): I've been inactive for quite a bit due to focusing on studying, but I've now decided to start playing. The progressions on Silvermoon wasnt so good and I had a hard time find a proper guild, took a look on the Wow-europe.com realms forums and noticed that Turalyon had many guild reqruiting for ssc/tk and beyond.

Name, class and level of Alternate character(s): No alts on Turalyon yet.

Reasons why you would like to join: Since I'm new to this realm I was browsing the forums and noticed that you guys are looking for resto druid, checked this forum out and you seem like a nice and dedicated bunch, with nice progress aswell. I find myself to be a very dedicated and skilled raider.

Were all of the above characters levelled by you from the start?: I've leveled all my characters myself.

Your real age: 15

As I don't think this templete fills my needs to describe myself I will write some additionl info about myself and my gaming life:

My name is Jesper and I live in a little town called Mantorp, Sweden.
Apart from playing World of Warcraft I also play soccer regulray twice a week atm. I also play the guitar and enjoy messing around with various software programs such as Dreamweaver and Photoshop and the like.
I enjoy playing WoW mostly as it gives me a chance to spend time with like minded people and doing the stuff that I like. As written above I am only 15 years older, but in many aspects I am far older than that, and I often grow tired of friends at school cause they simply... Just aint mature enough, end I think that is one of the reasons I enjoy playing WoW, cause I can be myself and have fun with likeminded people.

I've been playing my druid for a bit over 2 years, and I've been resto since lvl 10 with some exceptions of course. Before TBC I raided up to the start of Naxxramas, and when TBC hit us I was quickly 70 and did some hardcore raiding for a few months, getting the gear which I currently have.
Then school starting taking up to much time, and I decided to take a break. 6 months has now passed and I'm back to resume raiding, but under these 6 months of being inactive I have actualy been raiding a bit on my friends priest, just helping out when he was busy etc, so I actualy have experience of full TBC contect, including Illidan and Archimonde.

And I would like that add a lost comment about my gear, is taht I have a blue neck, and a epic caster belt from Karazhan, but as mentioned above I'm close to replacing both of those with items purchasable from heroic badges.

Thanks for the application, I have forwarded it to the officer boards where it will be discussed and we will get back to you.

Quick question, what was your druids name when on Silvermoon?

Veritaz

My druid name was Nabkin when he was on Silvermoon.

Good luck on the application.

One quick question. Being 15 years old, does that ever interfere with staying till the end of a raid (midnight for our raids) on a weekday?
Most 15-year olds I know (granted, I don't know that many) aren't allowed to stay up that late.

Hello Veritaz and good luck with your application,

Just out of curiosity, in which guilds you have been in Silvermoon?

I have no problems staying up late at nights, already very used to it.

And I would prefer not to discuss my previous guild in public, because when I took a break they were really pissed and was gonna slice me open etc. Would prefer if we spoke about this in-game.

Hello Veritaz, first I would like to say you're written English is very good for a 15-year old, as I've always said WoW IS educational, if you make an effort ;)

About this you should know that having other people playing your char for you in OUR raids isn't allowed, unless the circumstances and raid leader demands/ allows it. Other than that I'd like to say good luck (lykke til svenske nabo!) and I'll not see you in game :D

Very nice application :) A bit of warning tho, not all of us are 'all mature', if you do join be wary of the random sillness of some members. Oh, and expect the ammount of beggars whispering you to double; some of our members (*coughts* Martzy *coughts*) find it quite good fun.

On a bit more serious matter: very informative apply, with nice initiative of expanding it a bit. And while it was quite elaborate, it missed one aspect (but it doesn't affect if your apply will be accepted or not, now I'm just curious). And that would be: PvP! Ever did/enjoyed it and will/would do more of it? You said you are new to the server: are you/would you want to be a part of arena team? And if so: how serious would consider it? (aka: would you be able and willing to respec just for arena matches, since PvP and PvE specs differ a 'bit'?)

Forgive me if I am a bit too inquisitive or 'jump' on you a bit too much, it's just that resto druids willing to do 'serious' arenas are pretty much all 'taken' now, and well, I wouldn't forgive myself if I didn't 'check' with you :)

Either way, no matter your answer(s): thumbs up. 2 full-time trees is a bit low, especially since both of 'em quite avoid ZA (dunno why, all those trolls with axes must have scared them).

avoid ZA

I wouldn't say avoid ZA. I usually don't play on friday evenings and playing on Saturdays is out of the question because of my family and children. Also bear in mind that I can play only 3 evenings for full time and I need permission for fourth. As Andy already said many times before. *Women are devils minions, especially wives* :P

I have never really taken PvP seriously, my only PvP gear atm is two parts of the season one set, purchased by honor.
I do the PvP daily some days for cash, and I usualy play bits when AV weekend is up. Neither I'm I planning on taking PvP seriously with respeccing and such, since I find raiding quite timetaking itself and more fun than PvP.

Ah well, had to check ;)

And really, didn't mean that 'avoid' thing seriously, no need to explain yourself mate (tho you know, only guilty tries to explain himself :p). That was also kind of nudge at officers if they belive ammount of trees we have atm is more then needed :P
