I was chatting with Leaf earlier and he mentioned that you might prefer a shadow priest. I would be happy to switch to shadow, as I have been holy for a long time. However, my gear level would be nowhere near as good as it is holy (~600 spell damage in my DPS set right now). Since I am 375 tailoring I would get the FSW set immediately and then work my hot ass getting any upgrades and nethers I could for a shadow set.
If I were going shadow I might spec something like this (but I would like a read up a bit more first).

Character tradeskill professions and levels:
Enchanting 375, tailoring 375 (so I can get the shadow set quite easily if I switch).

Character heroic keys and attunements:
All heroics. I have run most heroics successfully barring SL, and SH.
kara attuned. I have healed for and downed all bosses in kara. I was raid leader for LMs first Nightbane kill and my group’s first Netherspite kill.
In addition, I have done all the non-optional kara bosses on my hunter, so I know them from a DPS perspective. I have also been a shadow priest on a curator try way back in the mists of time.
Also MC and BWL attuned if you are doing funruns.

High level non trainable spells/abilities learned:
I have both spellstrike recipes.
I also have the +15 shadow resistance on cape enchant, which is a blue recipe that no one ever ever wants, and the 12 stam on bracers enchant.

Total /played time: 39 days 14 hours (I was a late bloomer)

/played time at level 70: 15 days 21 hours

All heroic key factions – revered or better.

Sha’tar - Exaulted
Violet Eye – Exaulted
I haven’t got very far with daily quest factions as I do my questing on my hunter.

Dibstar, Hunter, Level 70. BM raid spec (nearly, again - don’t drink and respec). I use her for making money and occasional raid filling.
Dibsclaw, Druid, Level 39. I’m levelling this guy to try out tanking. I play him a bit at the moment - but I’ve hit the mid level doldrums and I’m gonna ninja my rested bonus as much as I can.
I also have a level 20 mage and shammy, but I never really play them. And a level 1 bank who I use for taking out my frustrations on the rats of stormwind.

Reasons why you would like to join:
I did an instance or two with some of you guys a long time ago and you seems very cool and very professional. I was going to apply a while back when I left TEA, but joined LM instead where I knew some people already. At the moment I want to progress more in TBC 25 man raids and you guys seem to be exactly what I’m looking for – a nice, fun relaxed guild who know what they are doing.

Were all of the above characters levelled by you from the start?:
Yup. Thousands of hours with my housemates crying about me playing WoW too much:P

Two notes:
I can’t raid on Tuesdays because I go sailing that night, however the weather this summer has been horrendous so there is always a chance I will log in if sailing is cancelled. I usually set aside 2 nights a week for scheduled raiding and then pick up whatever heroics I can other evenings, but if you need me I’ll be there.
I’m going to a music festival this weekend, and I’m booked up for the week with my mates so I can’t raid until around Wednesday the 5th Sept if you need me for a trial, though I would be happy to run a heroic or join in for a few bosses later in the evening any night of the week.

After reading your previous guilds I remembered where I've seen your name. I was in LM as well during my stray from AGPG (and had a couple more to try them out)

What's your hunter called again? And would you bring him over to AGPG if you do get accepted?

You're willing to respec to shadow if that's what we need more than holy........but do you prefer playing as holy or....?

Respeccing to Shadow and you'll be loved by everyone (I know from experience) but switching from Holy to Shadow took a while to become effective gear-wise.

Getting Exalted with Lower-City is a nice start

Just checked your potential shadow build. First of all i should say i'm not a shadow spec expert (i have been shadow for very little time during about 130+ /played), i was only wondering about a couple of things since we are talking about a pure raid shadow spec. Please don't think that i ask about those out of bad impression, as i said in a previous post your application is very nice.

1. Why did you choose Improved Psychic Scream instead of going 5/5 Improved MindBlast?

2. From the epxerience i have till now, silence is almost useless in raid situations, so i was wondering if that one point could be used in something like 1/5 Shadow Power.

My hunter is Dibstar. i would like to bring my hunter and druid over to AGPG. i tried having my alts in a 2nd guild once but it gets too complicated with managment and communication, and i felt like a bastage when i eventually did move them onto LM.

As for the shadow questions, i'm delighted to see such positive responses! even after what leaf had told me i wasn't sure you guys would want a shadow so much! I'm nearly halfway to exaulted with LC since last time i considered going shadow, and if i do a few LC rep runs i should pick up the rest fairly quickly and hopefully a nether or two to make my spellstrike set:)

Ah, i'm not so hot on Shadow Spec myself.
i went for Improved Scream -> Silence since the bane of my existance in this game is mobs healing on me, i always try to have something up my sleve to stop them.
Since i waste time on the internet a lot at work i was planning on checking out the WoW priest forums and seeing what they had to say about shadow specs before implimenting the respec.
i might well go for 5/5 Imp MB if that is considered better for raiding.
Anyhow, i am always tinkering with my spec and dreaming up new ones as i trundle along in my car, so whatever i pick i will start to mess with it before long^_^

Agree with Horazon here, since in a raid view most mobs(if not almost all)are immune to both silence and psychic scream.

Checking up the WoW priest forum is a good idea, but try to play abit with the spec(if you decide to respec)and see what suits your play style best

I have Silence in my spec tho but also because I PvP. But the Priest for example at High King Maulgar is not immune to silence and is a nice card up the sleeve in case the rogues died / are slacking / are little rogues in the raid

Imp Mind Blast isn't really a must. It nice to gain additional DPS but it's not very mana efficient (even with VT on the target)

Hey guys, jsut a little update.
I respecced shadow while free from the confines of a guild. I had great fun in (normal) arca and did a nice bit of damage (i was too scared to go heroic in case i nubed it up:)).
