As for the application I cant see any real problems with it other then that Serenity business and that we are abit full on "caster" classes. The last part can ofcourse be fixed if Ionic does agree to that maybe he will be passed over abit at first for the "old-timers".

they obviously are --> giving mages a hard time topping, + giving nice buffs.

And since when is topping mages on the damage meters hard?
You sir, are a dead gnome!

but this thread seem's to have drifted off the topic of a rather impressivly geared, good attitued, known to other members shaman onto the raid dps of a shaman and then discussions about there threat generation/lack of agro dumping abilites.
not trying to be a party pooper.. but i think that ionic's application thread may not be the correct place for such discussions and maybe detract away from his application..
*prepare's himself for being shouted at*

Actually the dicussion in Serenity ended with us not being sure an Elemental Shaman would be viable for our raids. It would be unfair to trial someone that eventually couldn't contribute in DPS enough, so it was mainly a spec/class discussion.
Both applications look(ed) nice and you'll probably do great if hired, good luck on that.
